Helping our neighborhood farmers markets
I had the opportunity today to celebrate the opening of the Queen Anne Farmers Market at its new, permanent site on West Crockett Street. Neighborhood farmers markets are great for our local economy, good for the environment and they bring our community together. So I’m happy to announce that farmers markets are going to benefit from changes we’ve made in the permitting process and reduced fees for holding markets on public property.
